6th Grade Math Full Year Mega Bundle

As my educational philosophy and class structure moved towards a math workshop model several years ago, it became extremely important for me to find effective and engaging middle school math activities for my students to work on at their math centers. I have become passionate about creating these math games, math sorts, and hands on math activities for middle school math students. I am excited to share that I have a Math Workshop Full Year Mega Bundle ready in my store. This bundle is made up of the majority of my 6th grade math activities, many of which now include a digital option to go along with the printable activity. If you teach 5th grade math, 7th grade math or 8th grade math, you will want to check out my 5th Grade Math Mega Bundle, 7th Grade Math Mega Bundle, or 8th Grade Math Mega Bundle. Below is a preview of what is included in this bundle for 6th grade math!

*Please note: Most of the games and many of the task cards included in this bundle now include a digital Google slides option to use with your students!

6th Grade Math Task Cards and Exit Slips

Some of the more valuable resources are the two full year sets of math task cards and my set of Angle Relationships Task Cards. The first set of task cards is made up of more basic problems for about 90 different concepts. The digital Google slides copy of this set is now included. Each math task card includes 2 to 5 problems. The second set of task cards covers the same concepts as the first set, but are more challenging enrichment problems. The bundle also includes a digital Google slides copy of these enrichment cards. Each of these enrichment task cards has 1 to 2 challenging problems for your higher level students. The Angle Relationships Task Cards set includes 96 task cards in which students must use their understanding of angle relationships to find missing angles. The angle task cards have different star levels to indicate the level of difficulty.

The bundle also includes a full year set of 6th grade math exit slips. Each of the close to 90 concepts includes an exit slip with four different problems that increase in difficulty. This helps you find where your students are at with each topic.

6th Grade Math Games

Connect Four Math Games

My students always love playing Connect Four math games! Better yet, these now all include a digital Google slides option. There are 15 different games included, each focusing on a different middle school math skill. In the games, students answer math problems and cover the spaces on their game board that correspond to their answer. The first person to connect four in a row wins the game! All of the Connect Four math games include a digital math game option. In the digital option, students can play the game as a Google slides math game.

Math Board Games

The 16 middle school math board games are a more recent creation. These are a huge hit with my middle school students. Similar to the Connect Four games, these board games all now include a virtual Google slides version of the game. The board games cover a wide range of skills, from fraction and decimal operations to probability and statistics, and everything in between! My favorite is this Area Invasion geometry game. My students have also loved the different games included in the Fractions and Decimals Board Game Bundle, which are all included in the mega bundle. All of these games also include a Google math game option, where students can play the digital math game.

Math Memory Games

Who doesn't love a good old fashioned memory game? There are 6 different equation memory math games in which students try to match each equation with its solution.

Top it Math Games

The six Equation Top-it math games that are a part of the bundle have a similar game play to the classic card game War. Students each flip over a card at the same time and must solve the equation on their card. Whoever has the greater solution wins both of the cards and places them on the bottom of their deck. The game keeps going until somebody gets all of the cards or until time runs out!

Math Bingo Games

Three different math bingo games are included. They are fun to play as a whole group or in small groups as a math center. Multiplication Bingo, Squares and Roots Bingo, and Negative Number Bingo each focus on different math skills.

Math Game Show Review

These are Jeopardy-style math games that are great to use as review with the entire class. There are five different banks of questions, each related to a different 6th grade math standard. A sixth end-of-year review set includes questions that are related to a variety of math standards.

Math Scavenger Hunts

Another great way to review math skills and get kids moving around the room is by using math scavenger hunts. They are a fairly low-prep math activity. Just post the 12 problems in different spots around the room and have 1-3 students begin at each one. Their answer to each of the problems will lead them to their next problem! This set includes 10 different math scavenger hunts for a bunch of different math standards.

Other Math Resources

In addition to all that is described above, there are various other middle school math activities also included in this bundle. Some of the other student favorites are the Stock Market Challenge, Percent Scramble math game, Pi Day challenge activity, and much more! All of these are designed to keep things fun and engaging in your math classroom! Be sure to check out the product description for a list of everything that is included . Have a great school year!
